We hire people who give a s*** and want to grow. If that sounds like you, we should talk.
Wit truly is a different type of organization. Are you kind of sick and tired of working at the same company over and over again where they don't listen to your ideas, they say all these empty promises about how they're going to help you and all the personal and professional development that they're going to give you and it just quite frankly never happens? When I started Wit, one of the most important things to me was making sure that the employees actually had an opportunity to grow, not just professionally, but also personally. You spend so much of your time at work, it just feels like our duty that we have to make sure that you are growing or at least given the opportunity to grow. And we do some crazy stuff. I mean we have sometimes meditation sessions in our all-company meeting. Twice a year we have a really cool all-company retreat where we fly everybody to the same place and we bring in a really cool speaker. But those retreats aren't focused on the company. They're focused on the individual. Whereas most businesses talk about numbers and metrics and you got to work harder and stuff like that — none of that happens at our retreats. It's all focused on you. It's all focused on bringing the people together to have a really cool experience, to really be part of a team. And these are things that I set out with, like I said, in the very beginning and that we have weaved in and we have absolutely never forgotten. Ask any Wit team member — during the interview process we talk about this stuff and they always say, "Oh my gosh, this sounds like the best place ever to work." And in the back of their minds, they all say, "Okay, cool. I'm gonna get two months in and find out that all of this is not actually true. But hey, it's got to at least be better than where I work right now." And every single one of those team members comes back to either myself or my business partner Andrew two, three, four months down the road and they say, "Hey, you guys weren't lying. Everything you said came true. All of the promises you made about focusing on us, giving us personal development — all came true." Even though we thought that maybe they weren't. And that's what we take a lot of pride in here at Wit.
